BA in Audiovisual Communication from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru PUCP (2003) and MFA in Film Production from The University of Texas, Austin (2009). She founded Blue Producciones in 2002 and has directed seven shorts and one feature film, screened at international festivals and galleries. Her films bring an intimate approach at topics such as family, identity and human relationships.
Rolling Strong (2016) her first feature film, received post production and distribution grants from the Ministry of Culture of Peru, and was also awarded Best Documentary Feature at Festival de Cinéma Péruvien de Paris (2017). Her second feature film, El Maldito Bastardo (currently in process), has received both the development and production grants from the Ministry of Culture of Peru.
She has taught film production and documentary courses at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (2010-2019) and at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (2014 up to date). Likewise, since 2014 she facilitates audiovisual and filmmaking workshops at rehabilitation centers for youth in conflict with the law.
As cultural manager, she has coordinated filmmaking workshops and film events for Centro Cultural de España and the European Union in Lima, Ibermedia, Lima Film Festival and Cinélatino Rencontres Toulouse. She was also a member of the selection committee of the Lima Film Festival in 2018 and 2019.
Currently, she is pursuing a Master´s Degree in Film Preservation at Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola (San Sebastian, Spain), where she is also developing her second feature film.
